Terms of Service

Using the service

These terms cover the website, hosted service, and APIs. Accepting for an organization requires authority to bind it. Use only accounts, content, and systems you are authorized to access. Keep credentials secure and report suspected misuse to security@smrit.ai.

Your content and sharing

You and the relevant rights holders retain ownership of submitted content. You permit the processing reasonably needed to store, search, display, transmit, and maintain it, follow authorized instructions, secure the service, and comply with law. This does not grant unrestricted reuse rights. The Privacy Policy describes personal information handling and the restrictions on model training and external evaluations.

Choose sharing settings and agent permissions carefully. You are responsible for having authority to submit content and authorize recipients. Public content and information delivered to clients may be copied outside the service.

Acceptable use

Do not bypass permissions, misuse credentials, upload malware, disrupt operations, or use the service unlawfully or in violation of another person's rights. An instruction inside a document does not establish permission.

AI and connected providers

AI responses and memory summaries can be wrong. Review consequential outputs and actions. Connected providers have their own terms. The service does not replace professional advice or offer a guarantee of regulatory suitability.

Free access and charges

The current offer provides one month free. Pricing for subsequent access must be agreed before paid service begins. These terms do not authorize an undisclosed charge or automatic renewal. Contact terms@smrit.ai before the free period ends about continued access or retrieving content.

Data retention and removal

Editing, archiving, disabling memory, and leaving an organization do not necessarily erase data. Revisions remain, memory deletion is currently soft, and exports have limits. Contact privacy@smrit.ai about retrieval and deletion. Applicable privacy rights continue to apply.

Service changes and access

Features can change or be unavailable. Access may be restricted for misuse, security reasons, legal requirements, or expiry of the agreed access period. Contact terms@smrit.ai to end your use. No fixed uptime, recovery time, or support deadline is promised.

Warranties and legal rights

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without implied warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Mandatory rights and applicable legal responsibilities remain unaffected.

Changes to these terms

We will communicate material changes to these terms and obtain agreement where required. Changes do not retroactively authorize new charges.
